The identity of the transcriber is deduced from a calligraphic comparison with the manuscript F-Pn Vm7 6275.
The instrument is not explicitly indicated, but can be deduced from its close relationship with the other Villeneuve manuscript (Vm7 6275) and from the evidence of some chords, suitable for the 5-string pardessus.
