The Uppsala catalogue and the RISM records treat the sonata and the suite as two separate compositions. However, in view of the unity of tonality and instrumentation, and the fact that in all three parts sonata and suite are copied on the same sheet - in the case of the Continus part even on the same page - it seems legitimate to consider it as a unique composition.
