This aria is concordant with the aria «Onde chiare imparate» from the opera Briseide, Hanover, 1696, atto II, scena 5, where the solo instruments are 2 oboes. Moreover it is found in Torri’s autograph manuscript Trastulli, in a version for Flute ou violon and Hautbois ou violon.
